Towards the end of operation of the service when it was but a shadow of its former grand self, former North Western Y-type JDB 242E approaches the Farrar's Arms in Grasscroft. It is showing the final route number 897.

I bought this and the other photo of the same vehicle many years ago and I'd love to know who took them so that I can acknowledge them.
