Subject: North Western 233 (JDB 233E)
Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU4/4R
Body: Duple (Northern) Commander C41F
Location: Oldham, Mumps
Date: 1973/4
These Duple Commanders did not benefit from the all white livery at all, especially when in shabby condition as on 233 here.
The X99 service was renumbered to 399, as seen here, in the autumn of 1973.
From an original slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown.
