This bus new as 1524, was renumbered UD472 in August 1974 and received the number seen here in October 1975. Whilst some of the batch were renumbered again in 1983, this bus was withdrawn in 1981 still as UD2872 and sold the following year, presumed scrapped.

This view shows clearly the blue upholstery used on this batch of ten dual-purpose Leyland Leopards delivered in 1972, the last new Western Welsh buses not in NBC colours.
