Looking in fine fettle here, probably because it has just had its seven year re-certification, UD2872 is working to Maerdy. It would have been one of the vehicles supplied by Cardiff's Penarth Road depot, rather than Porth.

As with most of the batch, these had rather short lives. This particular vehicle was withdrawn in 1981 after a working life of just nine years and was sold for scrap the following year.
