Additional information:
The power was turned off in Ashton and the tour was limited to Manchester's wiring. This was as close to Ashton it got, simulating the original terminus at the Snipe which was replaced by the loop at Ryecroft Hall from 25-May-1959. Trolleybuses previously used to reverse up the side of the pub.
