301 was a North Western Marshall-bodied Bristol RE of a type that had worked the 154 from North Western's Oldham garage, but disappeared from the area until this example was transferred to Tameside. It has just passed through Greenfield village on 20th January 1979 and is about to turn towards Uppermill.
