U1159 was withdrawn by Red & White in May-1977 and until the end of the year was used as a training vehicle, which probably accounts for its presence in Porth although it bears no evidence of that role here. Passing to Western Welsh as a withdrawn vehicle it was quickly sold, in Jan-1978.

This bus had been new to Aberdare and as far as I can establish ran there until it was loaned to Crosville from Oct-1967 to Sep-1968. On return from Crosville it moved to Brynmawr depot.
