Subject: Ashton C.T. 40 (TE 9888) Chassis: Leyland Lion LT1 Body: English Electric B32R Location: unknown Year: 1929
The unusual rear entrance arrangement on these Lions. It was similar to the "Edinburgh-style" entrance but also had a sliding door.
40 was withdrawn in 1938 and is recorded as working for E. Stott of Oldham who, after trading under several names, became Stott's Tours - still in business today.
