Subject: National Welsh UC204 (AAL 587A)
Chassis: Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/3R
Body: Plaxton Paramount C48Ft
Location: Bristol, Haymarket
Date: c.1987

UC204 has recently been renumbered from UC1204 and there is a gap where the missing '1' was. The registration was changed in late 1985 - it was previously SDW 920Y.

It is arriving at Bristol on its way to Cardiff from Brighton, with the Marlborough Street bus station not being very far away.

The statue in background is of Samuel Morley, a philanthropist and political radical, and has since been moved some distance along Lewin's Mead.

From an original negative in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown
