Considering how frequently buses turned round at the end of Sardis Road, very few were actually photographed in the process. Here one of the two highbridge K6Gs, 59, has turned and will work the next service to Caerphilly.
There were signs, one just off the photo to the right and another across the road and also not visible which stated “Turning Point for Omnibuses. No Parking”, but I think it would have been challenging turning a 12-metre coach round at that point, even with no parking.
59 is still in very original condition here and still carries its original livery with the silver roof.
