The splendid District Bank building is almost complete in this view of Mumps over a century ago. Tram 58 is prominent in the centre - this had been new in 1902 and was one of the first to receive a top cover in April 1904. Stead & Simpson’s shoe shop (“The National Boot Stores”) is to the right.
