This Enviro 400 was used on London Olympic bus services when new before moving to its intended destination in Manchester. It is branded for the 76 route, a rather circuitious route from Oldham to Manchester which has its roots in Manchester’s 25X service to Brookdale Park, which became the 76 (a Wilbraham Road to Brookdale Park) service on 11-Oct-1948 and gradually extended both in Manchester Corporation days and subsequently to eventually reach Oldham.

The tracks are in position for Metrolink but the overhead line is not yet in position.
