This is one of the batch of buses which really added to the confusion about who worked the service. New as Yorkshire Woollen 415, it transferred to Hebble at the same time as the operation of the X12. It then moved to West Riding, initially as their 96 before it was renumbered into the common West Riding and YWD fleet numbering scheme as 268. At the time this photograph was taken, with it turning into Regent Street by Mumps bus station, it was owned by West Riding, carried West Riding and Yorkshire fleetnames and was probably driven by a Yorkshire Woollen driver!

From an original slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown.
