Oldham bought no less than fifty Leyland Titan PD1/3s with Roe bodies - 242-291 (DBU 242-291), split into two batches of twenty-five. 286, waiting on St. Peter's Street to depart for Denshaw, was from the second batch which didn't have the distinctive Roe waistrails.
