Subject: Bradford C. T. 792 (GHN 574)
Chassis: Karrier W
Body: East Lancs H39/32F
Location: Embsay station
Date: 9-Apr-1972

792 was purchased for preservation by the West Riding Transport Society and left Bradford shortly before the final abandonment. It is seen here stored at the Yorkshire Dales Railway site at Embsay not long after it arrived. Behind is the ex-Liège trolleybus that was also stored, both vehicles later moving to Sandtoft as the museum there became established.

The loco to the right is Peckett 1870 of 1932, new to the Stanton Ironworks and used until 1966. The reason it is stood on isolated piece of track is that it was a three foot gauge loco.
