Subject: Parfitt, Rhymney Bridge 383 (BYW 383V) Chassis: Leyland National 10351A/2R Body: Leyland National B44F Location: Merthyr Tydfil bus station Date: 17–May-1996
Seen after its return from Porth, 383 has now received a darker red skirt, possibly an attempt to make the livery closer to the one by then being used on the whole Rhondda fleet.
It was withdrawn soon after this photo was taken and passed to Access Express of Derby, who re-registered it AXI 7705. It regained a centre door in its new role (it was built as dual-door) but of a different style and in a different position.
