Subject: National Welsh RD1343 (SAX 6G) Chassis: Bristol RELH6L Body: ECW C47F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: 16-Jul-1981
A type not associated with this route, but presumably drafted in when the X8 was inaugurated, was this one-time Red & White coach. It would have given a superior journey than the Leyland Nationals which seem to be otherwise used until the Willowbrook-bodied Leopards made their appearance.
The X8 was quite a new service at this point, only having been introduced a couple of months before.
