Subject: National Welsh RD1339 (SAX 1G) and N1575 (NWO 491R) Chassis: Bristol RELH6L (SAX 1G) and Leyland National 11351A/1R (NWO 491R) Body: ECW C47F (SAX 1G) and Leyland National B52F (NWO 491R) Location: Porth depot Date: 28-Jun-1984
Four days after the previous view, RD1339 is about to leave Porth for the journey north. In the intervening time National Welsh have painted out all the identification. It has changed owners since but is still in preservation.
On the far right is Bristol Lodekka L860 which had been there at least four years. I presume it was used as a source of spares for the two training buses from the same batch that were still in the fleet at the time (the former L560 and L2060).
