RD4772 heads a line-up of coaches and dual-purpose vehicles alongside the bottom shed. This was the last of thirteen dual-purpose REs bought in 1972 which were unusual for Red & White in having Gardner engines, otherwise only the first two batches had that power unit, all others having the Leyland engine.
RD4772 evidently became a Porth vehicle for a time and has a New Rhondda local identifier on the front.
