It was normal practice to deliver utility vehicles in plain grey or brown, but Pontypridd have clearly wasted no time in turning out 34 in full livery complete with lining out. It still carries blackout masks on the headlamps - the blackout restrictions were eased in late 1944 but not fully lifted until 1945.
