9 is on Holton Road working the B4 to Garden Suburb. This was the least frequent of the original Barry Bustler services, only running hourly.

The building in the background is of interest as it was the garage of Reliance Motors (Barry) which was absorbed by Red & White in 1953. It closed as an operational depot in September 1955 and was demolished not long after this photo was taken, in October 1988. A jobcentre now stands on the site.
