Subject: National Welsh 10 (C110 HKG) Chassis: Ford Transit 190D Body: Robin Hood B16F (on Dormobile shell) Location: Barry, Tynewydd Road Date: c.1989
10 is passing through King Square on its way from Safeway (formerly Presto) to Colcot Estate. Shortly before the final closure of Barry depot it was sold to Rhondda Buses and replaced by a short-term loan of similar minibuses from Southern National.
10 is passing Duple Laser-bodied Leyland Tiger UC923. At the end of National Welsh this was one of the vehicles still remaining at Barry (by then downgraded as UD923). It was also sold to Rhondda Buses but despite them already operating several of the batch it was only in a dealer capacity and it was sold on to Stagecoach Bluebird.
