Subject: Bradford C. T. 798 (BDJ 86) Chassis: BUT 9611T Body: East Lancs H35/28R Location: Thornbury, Leeds Old Road Date: 15-Aug-1965
Having turned at Greenhill Lane reverser, I presume that 798 then turned left onto Leeds Road to the roundabout in the background from which it went along Leeds Old Road to the Bradford Moor terminus. As the AEC Regent V behind makes clear, trolleybus services had ceased on this section and the inbound wiring was just used for trolleybuses working the Wakefield Road services, or as part of a test loop used after repairs at Thornbury works. The outbound wiring will not have been used since 1962 but is still in place.
