The interior views were taken at the southern end of the route from Blackburn, jointly-operated by Blackburn and Darwen. The terminus was at Whitehall. There was an authorised extension to the Cemetery but this was never built and was only served when the replacement buses took over in 1946.

The interior was modern at the time and as well-appointed as typical buses of the era but didn't feature the Alhambrinal moulded roof panels found on Blackpool's Balloons. It is not clear why there were single seats at the end as they were beyond the staircase so the space should not have been needed for circulation.
