XC960 is returning from Gatwick Airport to Cardiff making its last intermediate stop at Newport. New as XC1260 it was renumbered XC260 in 1986 and again as XC960 in 1988. It is carrying an earlier version of Rapide livery and would would later receive the revised version which had a wide diagonal stripe of blue and red lines which ran from below the windows to the bottom of the skirt panels.
Like most of this batch it went to the Republic of Ireland following its brief spell with Tellings-Golden Miller and was re-registered 86 TS 329 in July 1992. However, this was one that returned to the UK and was re-registered again in July 1995 as C914 AWK to operate for De Courcey of Coventry.
