740 is brought out to pose for some publicity photographs and what better place than at Bradford Moor, outside the English Electric factory where the motors at least for this batch of BUTs would have been produced.

I suspect this is before the introduction of the trolleybus service and was probably taken in the brief period between the abandonment of trams on 24th July 1949 and the replacement of the temporary motorbus service with trolleybuses on 4th December 1949.
