Another view at Bradford Moor passing English Electric factory. Whilst the whole batch of these BUTs arrived around May 1949, with the exception of 740 they were not used until the Bradford Moor route opened in the following December. 740 was used for driver familiarisation.

This photograph also shows off the original livery with primrose waistbands and gold lining. All subsequent deliveries didn't have these features and in time 740-751 lost them, along with the grey roof.
