Subject: Rhondda 299 (STG 870)
Chassis: AEC Regent V MD3RV
Body: Weymann H33/28R
Location: Pontypridd, Mill Street
Date: 14-Oct-1961

Until 1974 buses had to enter or leave the Rhondda valley in Pontypridd through the two staggered arches of the complicated Taff Railway viaduct on a section of road widened over the river to allow the tramcar service to operate.

299 is passing through this arch where care had to be taken due to limited clearance at the sides.
