702 has worked into Cardiff on the 136 service (I believe this will be the 1120 arrival from Church Village) and is going to spend what is probably the driver's meal break away from the bus station.
It is followed by Cardiff 566 (C566 GWO), an East Lancs-bodied Leyland Olympian working what had previously been a National Welsh service, the 353 to Barry Island. Cardiff had taken on these services following the closure of National Welsh's last depot at Barry on 7-Aug-1992. 566 was new with coach seats but these had been replaced by bus seats in the upper deck by the time of this photo.
