West Mon bought two of these Tiger Cubs from Western Welsh to replace the two AEC Monocoaches in the fleet and they proved one of the better buys from the period of second-hand purchases. 16 was new as Western Welsh 1116.

This bus has left Nelson along High Street and is about to join the A472 at Abernant, where Llanfabon Road halt was on the long-closed railway.
