Subject: Bradford C. T. 764 (NNU 228) Chassis: BUT 9611T Body: Weymann H32/26R Location: Bradford, North Parade Date: early 1960s
Later on in its tour 764 visited the rarely-used wiring in the North Parade/John Street area. It would seem that the booms had gone a different direction than 764 intended to go, but what isn't clear is whether this is before or after the correction.
The statue to the right is of Richard Oastler who was a key campaigner for the 1847 Factory Act which limited the hours that children could work. It has since moved a short distance to Northgate.
