Subject: Bradford C. T. 770 (NNU 234)
Chassis: BUT 9611T
Body: Weymann H32/26R
Location: Thornbury depot
Date: c.1959

770 is parked on the forecourt at Thornbury depot, the blinds indicating its last working was back here from Pasture Lane.

The mudguards on this trolleybus are rubber, something that seems to have been fairly standard practice at Bradford for some years, avoiding a lot in the way of minor damage repair. These had them in Notts & Derby days as well. They can be distinguished by the flat thickening rib around the edge, they are generally a little bit deeper and also tend to not be quite flat, as can be seen behind the front wheel here.

770 survives today in preservation.
