Nearing the end of the 69-minute journey from Nottingham to Ripley, 348 stops on Codnor Market Place. At the top of the photograph can be seen a frog for a turning loop here which in 1952 was used solely for one Monday to Friday early morning short working from Codnor to Heanor. The loop ran round the shelter which had been built in 1930 and still stands today.
