Subject: Bradford C. T. 832 (LHN 782)
Chassis: BUT 9611T
Body: East Lancs H37/29F
Location: Clayton, The Avenue
Date: 10-Aug-1965

There was quite a rural nature about Clayton terminus and cows could safely graze right alongside. However, the raised tail of the cow behind 832 implies it's about to do something other than graze!

As well as having EE electrical equipment, 832 is also advertising EE soft drinks. Despite English Electric having local production facilities, they never diversified into the soft drinks market.

832 was the first of this batch to be withdrawn in May 1971. It had been involved in an accident and it was not worth repairing considering it would have been withdrawn three months later anyway.
