Subject: Rhondda 472 (472 UNY) Chassis: AEC Regent V 2MD3RA Body: Northern Counties H37/28F Location: Ferndale, Dyffryn Street Date: c.1964
Ferndale's High Street has just turned into Dyffryn Street at this point. Here, the buildings immediately behind 472 have been much rebuilt, in more recent times housing The Biz Club although that no longer appears to be active.
472 is clearly quite new here and is being followed by a Bristol HA lorry of British Road Services, the cab of which was almost certainly built by Longwell Green who supplied a lot of bodies to Rhondda, notably on postwar AEC Regal buses.
