Subject: Bradford C. T. 776 (CBX 531)
Chassis: Karrier W
Body: East Lancs H35/28R
Location: Buttershaw, Reevy Road West
Date: c.1961

Buttershaw was still quite new at the time of this photograph and all the houses have a fairly uniform appearance. However, they are not so new that the Pickfords "Removers & Storers" lorry on the extreme left will be bringing the belongings of some first occupants.

776 provides a silent service and is seen, for a change, away from the terminus. The display has already been changed for the return trip but it is still outbound and is passing Brackenholme Royd. The most noticeable change over sixty years has been some tree growth, softening the landscape a little...and of course the disappearance of the trolleybuses.
