Subject: Bradford C. T. 776 (CBX 531)
Chassis: Karrier W
Body: East Lancs H35/28R
Location: Bradford, Thornton Road
Date: 4-May-1968

An intriguing low level view of 776 on the final part of the run into the city from Pasture Lane. This bus had been 38 in the Llanelly District fleet and originally had a Roe utility body before receiving this East Lancs body prior to entry into service in Bradford in 1956.

In the far distance can just be made out the Tetley sign for the Lord Clyde pub, co-incidentally on the corner of Tetley Street. The pub is a survivor, not just by remaining open as a business but to even remain standing - the cleaned stone buildings nearer to it have all gone.
