Subject: Rhondda 433 (VTX 433)
Chassis: AEC Regent V LD3RA
Body: Weymann H37/33F
Location: Cardiff bus station
Date: c.May-1964

433 waits for departure, the load showing why this route was such a money-spinner for Rhondda. 433 still has its sighting rod on the nearside front wing.

The 121 to Ystrad Rhondda had a separate stand at Cardiff to the Treorchy service despite the two services having a co-ordinated timetable and much of the route in common. It will have helped to manage crowds in the era when much duplication was necessary.
