Just a short distance further on from the previous photo the consist has turned from Great Ancoats Street into Newton Street. As can be seen this was a significant point in Manchester's trolleybus system and on the extreme left one of Manchester's last batch of trolleybuses, also featuring MetroVick traction equipment, can be seen heading along Great Ancoats Street.
