4601 is seen passing the Daily Express building, a very futuristic building when completed in 1939. It was designed by Sir Owen Williams and was given Grade II* listed status as early as 1974. In this view the printing presses can be seen but in the 1980s the Daily Express moved out of the building and it has been adapted for other uses.
