Subject: National Welsh N569 (NWO 485R) Chassis: Leyland National 11351A/1R Body: Leyland National B49F Location: Pontypridd, Berw Road Date: c.May-1988
By this stage National Welsh were struggling to deal with competition on many fronts, the two vehicles behind illustrating how many buses were around at this time. Even the true destination for N569 is limited to a slip in the windscreen saying “Rhydyfelin Glyncoch”. Pontypridd was something that had historically been on the blind and just served to indicate the general area of operation.
