Subject: Western Welsh UD4565 (DBO 150C)
Chassis: AEC Reliance 2MU4RA
Body: Plaxton Panorama C40F
Location: Porth depot
Date: mid-1970s

UD4565 was originally Western Welsh 150. As it had already been downgraded to dual-purpose when the Red & White style numbering scheme was applied to the fleet in Aug-1974 it became UD165 and then in Oct-1975 it was numbered as shown here. This batch got thoroughly mixed up in the renumberings - similar 152 which had not been downgraded at the time became first UC165, then UC8465 then finally UD8465.

This coach was a relatively late arrival at Porth depot as the NBC-style fleet name has the later red and blue logo on a white background which wasn't applied to many vehicles before the fleet name was replaced by the National Welsh one.
