Subject: National Welsh 2103 (F103 YWO)
Chassis: MCW Metrorider MF150/104
Body: MCW DP25F
Location: Pontypridd bus station
Date: 6-May-1989

2103 is still in full Inter Valley Link livery and has yet to carry its National Welsh fleet number. The C20 was introduced on 3-Apr-1989, immediately after the National Welsh takeover. Previously Inter Valley Link had run a service 16 from Caerphilly via Pontypridd, Nelson and Blackwood to Pontypool. This was split at Pontypridd and the C20 ran from Pontypridd to Pontypool.

What I can't explain is the destination Nelson, seemingly rather crudely written the blind, as there were no workings from Pontypridd to Nelson throughout the life of the C20.

Behind, working a T4 to Blaenrhondda, is Iveco 35 of the batch that introduced Bustler services to the Rhondda. It would become one of the few of the type to receive Rhondda Buses livery.
