Although the scheme to renumber the batch 101-117 was abandoned quite quickly during 1992, those that were renumbered clung on to their new numbers for a long time (and in the event those numbers were not re-used for other vehicles).
103 is working to Pontypridd from Caerphilly but could be operating from either depot. There was a co-ordinated timetable on this service with the Shamrock bus departing on the hour, Caerphilly Busways departures at 15 and 30 minutes past and Rhondda Buses departing at 45 past.
Note that 103 has maroon paint around the windscreen and front windows. It left the fleet around the end of 1995 and became Rossendale 39.
