Subject: Rhymney Valley D. C. 73 (A73 VTX) Chassis: Leyland Tiger TRBTL11/2RP Body: East Lancs DP47F Location: Caerphilly bus station Date: 8-Nov-1983
The original livery and smart presentation of the Rhymney Valley fleet at the time are both readily visible here. 73 is brand-new and still has its Tiger badge on the grille.
These vehicles were used on the London service that was later operated but is seen here on the much shorter service to Pontypridd which at the time rarely saw a bus that was able to display a route number.
