Subject: Trent 298 (AJA 140B) Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3/3RT Body: Alexander C49F Location: Oldham, Regent Street Date: mid-1970s
Once the services ceased to be operated by North Western, vehicles of the previous operator became quite a rare sight on it. Here, though, it would appear that at least two of the North W estern Y-types are helping out even though they are now in the Trent fleet. 298 was originally North Western 140 whilst to the left is Trent 263, a 1966 vehicle new as North Western 217.
