Gelligaer had a brief fling with dual-door buses starting with the last new AEC Reliances 33/4 and ended with the next new buses, a pair of AEC Swifts. They were converted to single door in 1971/2.

34 is still in original condition with dual doors here, pulling out of Chapel Street.
