Subject: Rhondda Buses 392 (KWO 561X) Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3F/4R Body: Willowbrook 003 Mk. II C47F Location: Caerphilly bus station Date: 17-Oct-1992
A peculiar feature of the Willowbrook-bodied Leopards working for Rhondda Buses was the replacement of the rear window with a solid panel, almost reminiscent of earlier wartime utility bodies. I believe this was probably done as a way of stiffening up the body structure - these bodies hadn't proved particularly robust. 392 is just entering Caerphilly bus station.
