The X30 service ran initially, I believe, from Pontypool to Cardiff but was quickly extended north to serve Brynmawr and even further to Big Pit Mining Museum in the summer.
UD388 is working that service but has obviously been borrowed as it is branded for the X8/X9 and indeed spent a large part of its life based at Porth depot.
