U769 poses as it parades around the "Bull Ring" area in the middle of the depot site. Along with U569, it was based at Porth for some time and carried the NBC-style Rhondda fleet names visible here.

This bus has had the destination display reversed, with the numbers on the offside, to facilitate operation by the driver when one-man operated. Subsequent deliveries of Western Welsh service buses would be built that way.
